We are prepared for 21st century realities. We offer our clients high-performance buildings with superb indoor-air quality and low environmental impact. We build Energy Star rated houses as required by Town of Southampton, and we can increase the quality and value of your investment by getting your project certified under two of the leading building standards - Passive House and LEED. Our long-term collaborator, Margarita Ganeva is an internationally Certified Passive House Designer and LEED AP who can provide energy modeling and thermal bridge calculations, recommend best practices and sustainable materials for your project.
PASSIVE HOUSE is an international performance-based building standard, demonstrating 90% energy savings in comparison to average buildings. Based on decades of research in building science and accurate energy modeling, Passive House standard has a proven
track record of built projects performing as predicted. With an impressive maximum annual heat demand of 4.75 kBtu/sf, Passive House is the easiest way to achieve Net Zero energy performance.
ENERGY STAR certified new homes are independently verified to be at least 15% more energy efficient than a home built to the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code, and feature additional measures that deliver a total energy efficiency improvement of up to 30 percent compared to a typical new home.
LEED is an internationally recognized building program with a comprehensive sustainability approach. According to the project type, buildings are assessed based on a combination of mandatory and elective measures in a number of different categories - Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality etc. Several certification levels are awarded - LEED Certified, LEED Silver, LEED Gold and LEED Platinum.
